Just ran into the below message from Access Bank and thought wise to share it:
"Effective Jan 15, 2014,ATM cards trapped in other bank's ATM machine will be deactivated & reissued. For more details call the Contact Center on 01-2712005-7"

Is this applicable to other banks too? Did you received such message? I don't mind porting if the issue only applies to Access Bank cards.
