Moses Ekom Abasi, popularly known as MOSAIC is first in the family of five boys. He hails from Nsit Ibom local government of area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
His love and inclination towards music began in his childhood. At a very young age he joined the children choir in his local church and performed a musical piece exceptionally to the admiration of all in his primary six, during the end of term party in his school.
Having discovered his potential in music, he ventured professionally into his career with the release of his debut album, WELCOME HOME, in November 2007 and followed up later with the video of that project in 2009.
In 2011, he launched his second studio album, UNVEILED with subsequent video compilation, one of which was shot and profiled by Christian Broadcasting Network-CBN Africa, producers of 700 Club, Turning Point and One Cubed.
Today, his music, ministry and life has become a blessing to many across Nigeria and beyond. He has emerged as a voice in the gospel music scene performing on various stages and platforms across Nigeria, sharing stage with world class renowned gospel music ministers like Don Moen, Kirk Franklin, Chevelle Franklin, Mary Mary etc., as well as famous gospel artistes in Nigeria.
He has won several recognition's, nominations and awards. He has performed consistently every year at the Calabar festivals and has also featured at the Guinness book of records, and internationally recognized 9,999 carol night of Akwa Ibom State Government.
As a build up to the official release of his new album, SURVIVOR, which is scheduled to hold at the main bowl of the Cultural Centre Complex in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria, on the 28th of February, 2016, he decides to wet the appetite of his teaming fans with this single, WHY OH WHY.
