What will we see? Expected later this year, the Apple iPhone 6 series of smartphones will undoubtedly catch the
attention of both press and consumer.
There are many rumors and much speculation and we are likely to see one of three scenarios played out;
● A single Apple iPhone 6 smartphone
● An Apple iPhone 6c and iPhone 6s
● An iPhone 6 and a tablet sized iPhone 6 Max So let’s take a look at the merits of each scenario.

Apple iPhone 6
A single release of just one Apple iPhone would indicate a failure, in Apple’s eyes, of the budget friendly iPhone 5c.
At launch I personally hated the idea of a budget iPhone as
I felt it cheapened the Apple brand, which had been known
for its exclusive top end devices.
A reasonable amount of time has passed since the iPhone 5 series launch and I have come to terms with the budget smartphone logic.
I see the possibility of just one device in the 6 series as the
most unlikely of the three possible scenarios.

Apple iPhone 6c and iPhone 6s
As I have mentioned I was no fan of the iPhone 5c concept
but a budget phone from Apple does have several benefits.
Firstly the iPhone 4s still sells in huge numbers and the
iPhone 5c would be the logical replacement to this once
stocks of the 4s are diminished.
So a continuation of this trend and an iPhone 6c release
may be a foregone conclusion.
If Apple fails to launch a budget friendly device then deal
seekers and the youthful end of the market could be
alienated and in my opinion it would be a hard turnaround
to get them buying Apple products again in the future.

Apple iPhone Max tablet
The naming here is complete speculation but there are many rumors that a larger tablet sized smartphone is on the cards.
This would be a logical decision to make as the recent releases from Apple have a retained a screen size that would fit into the ‘mini’ sized range of other brands such as Samsung and HTC. Of course they may just up-size the screen of the iPhone 6 in favor of launching two devices.
Either way, Apple must react to the market and launch a larger sized display on its next handset, failure to do so will simply see more market share slip in the direction of its main competitor, Samsung.

Apple iPhone 6 features
iPhone 6 rumors regarding its possible specifications include the following;
● A 4.7 inch full high-definition 1080p Retina+ display
● A 12 or 13-megapixel camera with low-light sensor and
re-focusing post capture
● Eye tracking technology as seen on the Samsung Galaxy series
● A new operating system, Apple iOS 8

Apple iPhone 6 pricing
No official UK pricing has been released for the iPhone 6.
However the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 flagship
smartphones were launched from £33 per month on 24
month contracts.
We could probably suggest that Apple pricing will be
similar on a tariff agreement whilst a pay as you go price
for the iPhone 6 may well be set in the £600+ region.
